The low temperature on August 31st was 83 degrees F. once again which broke a record for the date, tied the record highest minimum and was the latest date that the low temperature has been 80 degrees or higher.
On August 30th, the temperature reached 107 F. which is a new record for the warmest temperature in August and breaks the record of 106 F set on August 29th, 2000
On August 30th, 2000 at 2:30 PM CDT the temperature at the North Litte Rock airport in Little Rock, AR reached 111 degrees F. This is the highest temperature ever recorded since weather records began on July 1st, 1879.

 Human Ingestion of Bacillus Anthracis-Contaminated Meat --- Minnesota, August 2000
On August 25, 2000, the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) was notified by the Minnesota Board of Animal Health (MBAH) of Bacillus anthracis isolated from a steer on a farm in Roseau County, Minnesota.
On August 29, samples of carcass X tested by the MDH Public Health Laboratory (MDH PHL) were found to contain gram-positive bacilli on microscopic examination.
However, in adjacent areas of North Dakota during 2000, 120--150 cattle have died of anthrax (L. Schuler, North Dakota state veterinarian, personal communication, 2000), and 11 farms have reported anthrax-related cattle deaths in nearby Manitoba, Canada (Figure 1) (J.G. Spearman, Manitoba Department of Agriculture, personal communication, 2000).

The curves in the figure represent the average cumulative production of all named tropical systems, all hurricanes, and those hurricanes which were category 3 or stronger in those basins.
As seen on the above chart, frequencies of all three types of storms increase in August, and by the beginning of September in an average year we would expect to have had four named systems, two of which would be hurricanes and one of which would be of category 3 or greater in strength.
The Selected U.S. City and State Extremes provides a list of new records that were set across the U.S. during August 2000.

It was just two days ago on august 16th I took some GHB at about two forty-five in the morning.
About one hour later my girlfriend found me passed out in my own vomit, she went and woke up my parents they all tried to help they were trying to make puke cause they thought I was choking it turned out that I was in a semi-coma and my vomit was going into my lungs.
After they called 911 and the ambulance took me too the hospital I ended up waking up, frightened, surrounded by people I didn't know, I didn't know where I was and I felt like I couldn't breath which I couldn't at the time cause I didn't have my breathing tube in yet.
