It has been proposed below that August Cardinal Hlond be renamed and moved to August Hlond.
Removed: When the Soviet Army overran eastern Germany in 1945, Cardinal Hlond expelled the German clergy and German population from the East German provinces of Pomerania, West and East Prussia and Silesia, which Poland and the Soviet Union attempted to conquer.
I can not find any evidence that Hlond was involved in the civil administration.
