		Augustana has a very good working partnership with the U.S. Geological Survey’s Earth Resources Observations Systems Data Center in Sioux Falls.
		The College is currently making use of a Bush Grant to establish five to seven Internship Centers in San Francisco, Denver, Chicago, Minneapolis, and Washington in order to give Augustana students better access to internships and better internship experiences.
		The Washington Semester program is part of the Lutheran College Washington Semester consortium of thirteen Lutheran colleges nationwide.

		The Augustana College men’s basketball team (2-1) will be on the road for the middle game of a five-game road trip on Tuesday, November 22, as the Vikings travel to Kearney, Neb., to face No. 20 Nebraska-Kearney.
		The Augustana volleyball team had its season come to an end as the Vikings dropped a three-game decision to fifth-ranked Minnesota-Duluth in the first round of the North Central Regional Championships in St. Paul, Minn. Game scores were 30-17, 30-22, 30-27.
		Augustana College head volleyball coach Kim Sudbeck announced on Wednesday that two more high school players have signed national letters of intent to attend Augustana and play volleyball for the Vikings.

		Augustana scored one in the second and three in the third to take a lead that they would not relinquish.

		The Ouachita Tigers got a complete-game win from freshman Jeff Robinson and helped things out with 18 hits as they bounced back from a 9-8 loss in game one with a 17-2 rout of Augustana (SD) College in game two in non-conference baseball action Wednesday at Rab Rodgers Field.
		Ouachita would not be able to tie the game, however, as Augustana pitcher Kevin Ericson shut the Tigers down in the rest of the seventh to earn his first save of the season.
