		Aura is not the exception, with the base foundation of the awesome and perhaps only real contender to one "Carl Parmer", Michael Surgis(who stayed on and played on Aria and Arena), and Guitar wizard Guthrie Govan(still their current and official Guitarist), the album lifts up with a variety of musicians.
		Very diverse in its compositions, Aura may not be powerful as Aria(94) but continues the tradition of Arena with a less "Acoustic" sound, bright ideas and good musicians, keep the lights off and enjoy this emotional trip.(the extra "sessions" tracks are very good too).
		This album is a quite possibly the best ASIA album of the John Payne era, a close second to ARIA.

		This track alone makes it clear that this is a musically rich album, but do not be tempted to cast aside the inlay and ignore the vocal contribution.

		Most of the songs for the album were written about a year and a half ago when Dalkiel was only 18; he'll be 20 soon.
		The second song on the album was written 3 years ago, so a lot of the music is quite old.
		We tried to add a lot of atmosphere at the time, but since we lost our guitarist Mictian there won't be that much acoustic stuff on the next album, but there will still be some breakdowns, but more in the vein of Katatonia.

	Review Digest - Review of America at Musical Discoveries
		"Arena" from the album of the same name also features some fabulous Hammond work from Geoff and a stunning guitar solo from Guthrie who somehow manages to make one guitar sound like an arsenal of guitars.
		"Wherever You Are" also from Aura (co-written with Andrew Gold formerly of 10cc) is a solid AOR radio-friendly track once again allows Guthrie to really let loose at the end of the song.
		The second CD starts with one of the two standout tracks from Aura, "Kings of The Day." This may very well be the best Asia track from the Downes/Payne era.
