		Aurora County is a county located in the state of South Dakota.
		Aurora County, named for the Roman goddess of the dawn, was created by the South Dakota legislature on February 22, 1879, and organized in 1881 when three county commissioners were appointed.
		In the county, the population is spread out with 27.60% under the age of 18, 6.50% from 18 to 24, 22.10% from 25 to 44, 22.20% from 45 to 64, and 21.60% who are 65 years of age or older.
