  Autozone Park - Memphis, Tennessee
If this was set in a parking lot on the outskirts of the city, Autozone Park certainly would not rate as high in my book.
The seating bowl is similar to most new parks with the concourse overlooking the field, and the luxury boxes built over the concourse.
The exterior of the park is made of the classic red brick, which has become tiring, but works here as it fits in with the surrounding buildings.

As in other new parks, this concourse extends out around the outfield and loops back, a great feature for folks who like to check out different views, take pictures, try to snag foul or home run balls, or just stretch their legs.

IMO, the Forum is in the best location possible: downtown, a block off Beale Street, three blocks from AutoZone Park, two blocks from Peabody Place, adjacent to the Gibson guitar factory, the Smithsonian Museum of Rock and Soul, and three blocks from a streetcar line.
There is talk of building a MLB park in the seaport district in Boston.
AutoZone doesn't, but there are many in the vicinity.

Besides, most of the interesting old parks are either gone or sit unused, replaced by the color-by-numbers uniformity of new ballparks.

There was a large crowd on hand the evening I attended, but the several acres of walking area around the park made the place comfortable for all.
Luckily, the charm of Autozone Park overcomes this tragic flaw.
While in other parks youngsters grow restless after a few innings, and start interupting entire sections, they are extremely well-behaved here.

Monument Park is an area in left field that is essentially a Yankees' Hall of Fame.
Shea was the first non-"classic" park we visited; the other 3 all pre-date World War I. Shea was built in the 60s, around the same time that a lot of other cities (including St. Louis) were getting rid of their old parks and replacing them.
