	Autobianchi - Wikicars
		Autobianchi produced only a handful of models during its lifetime, which were almost exclusively small cars, with the biggest being the short-lived Autobianchi A111, a small family car.
		Autobianchis were priced higher than Fiat models of similar size and the brand was used by Fiat to test new and innovative concepts which later found their way into mainstream Fiat vehicles; these concepts included fibreglass bodies and front-wheel drive.
		Thus, the Autobianchi company was born, with the agreement signed by the three parties on 11 January 1955 and share capital of 3 million lira, 33% of which belonged to the Bianchi family.

		The Autobianchi / Lancia Y10 is a city car produced by the Italian automakers Autobianchi and Lancia from 1985 to 1996.
		Initially introduced in 1985 under the Autobianchi brand, using the FIRE engine in 1.0 and 1.1 L guises and Fiat's SOHC 1050 cc engine once used in the Autobianchi A112 Abarth and the Fiat 127's hottest version, this time turbocharged to produce 85 PS (62.5 kW) in the Y10 Turbo.
		Eventually, the Autobianchi badge was dropped in favour of Lancia's except in Italy; a textbook case of badge engineering.

		A guardare la Y10 e la sua linea originale e moderna, non si riescono a trovare punti di contatto con l’A112, ad accomunarle c’è solo il marchio ed il desiderio di imporsi come vetture chic da città, attente a soddisfare le esigenze di un sempre più esigente pubblico femminile.

		I'm pretty sure that a couple of those pix are of the Autobianchi Y10.
		Autobianchi was owned by Lancia (and hence owned by Fiat), and once production of the Y10 ended, they killed off the brand.
		This was the last Lancia to be imported to Sweden in the mid 80's, pretty nice car but with terrific rust problems.

		While at the time I had been not very happy with the restyling (I felt the car was being too much Lancia-ized), I have come to like it, as it adds her that little "aggressive" edge without diminishing her elegance.

		The Autobianchi Y10 was a 4WD model, if I'm not mistaken.
		But yes, the Y10 had 4wd as an option, just as it's technical cousin, the Fiat Panda.
		From what I remember, the Y10 was introduced around the same time FIAT bought Autobianchi and merged them with Lancia (and yes you're correct, it is on a chopped up Panda platform with those FIAT FIRE motors), but I thought they still called it an Autobianchi in Italy for some time afterward.
