  Machine Learning - Autocomplete
After a few autocomplete sessions, urls identified as likely click-candidates by the learning engine will show up with an asterisk prefixed to the title of the url in the dropdown list.
We started working on autocomplete as a first, concrete step towards applying machine learning to Mozilla because we think that the work we do here can be broadly applied.
First, we anticipate that autocomplete usability improvements will be multiplied as they are applied in different contexts like email, instant messaging, etc. Second, we also hope to apply these ideas to improve prefetching and caching.

AutoComplete is the ability to expand strings written in an edit box.
The most common task we usually want to accomplish is use the AutoComplete to expand strings like file names and directories or URL's that we used (History) or even strings from the Most Recently Used list (MRU).
Otherwise, // the autocomplete object treats // pwszQuickComplete as a sprintf // format string, and the text in // the edit box as its associated // argument, to produce a new // string.

Delete AutoComplete history. Clear AutoComplete. Disable AutoComplete settings. Turn off autocomplete settings. Change ...
AutoComplete is a feature that stores a list of everything you type in web pages (for example your name, e-mail address, credit card information, keywords you enter in search engines, etc).
While the AutoComplete feature may be helpful for some things, it can also seriously compromise your security and privacy, because anyone who has access to your computer can see what web sites you visited and what information you entered on web pages.
AutoComplete stores information you entered on web pages and when you start entering information again suggests possible matches from entries you have typed before.

 NK2View - View/Delete/Edit Outlook .NK2 AutoComplete Information
Each time that you send a new message in Outlook, the emails that you type in To/Cc fields, are automatically inserted into the AutoComplete list, so in the next time that you type an email address, Outlook automatically completes the right email address for you.
The AutoComplete file of Outlook is stored under [Your Profile]\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook, and it always saved as the profile name of Outlook with.NK2 extension.
This utility reads the AutoComplete file of Outlook (with.NK2 extension), displays all email records stored in it, and allows you to easily export these records into text/html/xml file.
