My approach is the opposite of the AutoCue theory, and it may serve nicely as a new feature (as well as a temporary workaround to the randomization issue).
AutoCue will not included in the first releases, but hopefully I will have the time to work on it in the not too distant future.
Although for whatever reason the AutoCue code may repeat its choice of songs, if it checks the playlist before the song is actually played, then the repition could be eliminated and force AutoCue to choose another song.
