	GAU-8 Avenger - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		The GAU-8/A Avenger is a 30 mm, seven-barrel Gatling gun that is mounted on the United States Air Force's A-10 Thunderbolt II.
		It is the largest (it is the size and weight of a family sedan), heaviest and most powerful aircraft gun in the United States military (although in a few cases full-sized artillery have been attached to aircraft).
		A persistent claim is that the recoil force of the Avenger matches that of the A-10's engines and as such the plane would slow down, stall and subsequently crash if the gun was to be fired for long periods of time.

		We have learned the proper way to do this would have been to fill the tank ~95% with water and then apply the pressure very gradually and controlled with a regulator as the air capacity is now greatly reduced and the pressure will rise quickly.
		The tank on that bike usually took about $3.50 to fill back then and could go almost 117 (I think that was it) miles on that.

		i put a 91 ci 4500 psi nitro tank on it..(actually as a joke cuz i wanted to blow it up ao i didnt have to carry it around with me) and to be a major surprise to me..
		Hay just wondering I thought most HPA tanks are regulated at the tank(built on Pressure regulator) anyway even though it is a 4500psi tank the out put is droped to maybe a quarter of that or less.
		High pressure markers are designed to work at 800-850 psi (the output pressure of a CO2 tank at 70F), so that's the output pressure of the tank* reg (on a high pressure HPA tank).

		I don't know if avengers have the same connecting pin problems as the raptor used to.
		its just the velocity is high or co2 tank is almost empty and how long have you had your gun for the warrenty may still be good for fix or new avenger.
		Took my tank off, put a few drops of oil in, screwed the tank back on, and a couple of trigger pulls later, it was working fine.

		I usually syphon the gas out through the fuel pump hose (that way you don't get any more gas out of the tank than the pump can get out) and then fill it one gallon at a time and note the gauge readings.
		And the top edge of the tank isn't wide enough or smooth enough to support that foam gasket............me thinks..............
		I'm thinking about putting a clear tank on if the gauge is as inaccurate as it seems to be.
