Avraham "Avi" Dichter (Hebrew: אבי דיכטר) (born: December 4, 1952) is an Israeli politician, former head of the Shabak, and member of the Knesset.
Dichter was born in Ashkelon and was a member of Hashomer Hatzair.
Along with being a staunch advocate for targeted killings of terrorist leaders, Dichter was one of the founders of the West Bank barrier.
