		The Ontario Farm Animal Council, 4-H Ontario and Middlesex County 4-H were selected to share in the proceeds raised at the Premium Pork Day charity pig auction held on May 5.
		Ontario Farm Animal Council Chairman Bruce Christie, 4-H Ontario Program Coordinator Karen Scott, and Middlesex County 4-H President David Little accepted the cheques and recognition on behalf of their organizations at a presentation made May 17 at the Premium Pork office in Lucan.
		Genetiporc Genetics, Avonbank Equipment and BSM stabling and Masterfeeds were the successful bidders and they also generously donated the meat to the Ailsa Craig Food Bank and the Men`s Mission (London).

		He says Avonbank will be spending about $20,000 on the research on this barn and, at press time, was looking for industry support.
		Ontario Hydro has installed a separate meter for the barn so that costs can be compared to a conventional finishing barn.

		Funds raised from the Golf Tournament are allocated to the Ontario 4-H Foundation Endowment Fund ensuring the long-term financial viability of the Ontario 4-H program.
		The proceeds from the "Friends of 4-H Fundraiser" and the Ontario 4-H Council's "Dream Dinner Lottery" were split between the 53 local 4-H Associations and 4-H Ontario.
		Each of the 4-H Associations in Ontario received substantial funds to be used for local 4-H programming activities in 2004.

		In 1851, Agnes (age 14) was living with her parents and siblings on a 160 acre farm in Fullarton Twp., Perth, Ontario, and this was her home when she married Walter Noble.
		It is presumed that she immigrated to the United States in 1893 with her husband and children.
		In later years she took a trip with her daughters Mary and Mern to visit other members of the family in Kansas, New York, Ontario, and North Dakota.
