  Aylestone School
Based on a delightful site among listed trees, Aylestone School was formed as a mixed 11-16 comprehensive school in 1976 by the union of the two former grammar schools: the Hereford High School for Boys and the Hereford High School for Girls.
The School exists, on the one hand, in order to develop every aspect of each individual pupil's potential to the full and, on the other hand, to serve the community by preparing the pupils individually and collectively for their life within it.
Aylestone School is essentially a caring school and one which is committed to putting Christian principles into practice.

BBC - Lincolnshire - Sport - Aylestone Athletic 13-10 Deepings
Aylestone whose defence had looked sturdy in the first half barely managed any forward progress of their own; a solitary penalty left the half time score at 10-3 to the visitors.
A second half Aylestone penalty had bought the score to 10-6, Deepings were clearly struggling to get out of their own half and spent the remainder of the match held within their own half, on any occasion they could gain any territory Aylestone won ball possession back to apply the pressure a again.
With two minutes remaining Aylestone took a lineout ten yards out from the Deepings try line, swift hands through the backs gave them an opening in the Deepings defence which they exploited well to score under the posts, the conversion gave a 13-10 final score line.
