Aylesworth Bowen Perry was born August 21st, 1860, at Violet in Ernestown Township, the fifth son of William Hawley Perry.
Perry were returning home from Napanee in a spring wagon drawn by one horse and when near Morven the front axle broke close to the wheel, precipitating the older gentleman into the road head-foremost.
On November 7, 1884, Kenneth Meikle Perry was born (K. Perry would later become a Professor at RMC and retire as a Brigadier from the Canadian military, daughter Jessie married G.T. Campbell and Gladys married Col. G.L. Jennings, a Deputy-Commissioner of the RCMP).
