Ex Astris Scientia - Xindi Ship Classes
The shuttle is used to examine the submerged Xindi probe in "Azati Prime".
But in "Azati Prime" and "Damage" we see Degra's vessel alongside a ship of type 1, and it doesn't seem to be longer than 35m here, unless the Reptilian type 1 has been scaled up too.
The general impression in the latter episodes is that the Insectoid type 2 is rather shorter than the Reptilian type 1.

The question with this episode is why no one from the 31st century, namely Daniels or one if his colleagues, bothered to track down and salvage the vessel earlier, to save its pilot and to avoid the past incursion in the first place.
We also learn in the episode that the Sphere Builders, knowing that they would be defeated by the Federation in the 26th century, told the Xindi that people from Earth would destroy their homeworld.
ENT: E2 The basic theme of this episode is the classic predestination paradox, as it has been featured a couple of times before on Star Trek, the most similar parallel being in DS9: "Children of Time".

The series was not a ratings success and the number of third and fourth season episodes was reduced.
After running for four seasons, the series was cancelled by UPN on February 2, 2005, with the final episode airing on May 13.
Star Trek: Enterprise is set several years before the founding of the Federation and follows the adventures of Captain Jonathan Archer and the crew of the Enterprise (NX-01).

Plot description: The Enterprise crew finally reaches the Xindi military colony at Azati Prime, and plans a suicide mission to destroy the doomsday weapon.
It's an episode where I honestly did not know how it was going to end (it doesn't end, actually, because it's a cliffhanger), and given recent anemic installments like "Hatchery" and "Harbinger," that's saying something.
Important to the effect of "Azati Prime" is that it carries some conviction.

They first appeared in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode "The Expanse", in which they carried out an unprovoked attack on Earth in April of 2153, killing 7 million people in a narrow strip of land stretching from Florida to Venezuela.
As was learned in the ENT episode: "Stratagem" from Degra, a colony of Primates resides on Azati Prime, where the weapon was being constructed.
A typical attack squadron, at least those at Azati Prime, consists of two Reptilian ships and two Insectoid ships.

Sato finds fragments of a personal letter, which mentions "Azati Prime." Tucker investigates their engines, which are tied into the "main deflector." Archer barks at the prisoners in the brig, when the lights flicker -- a "surge in the plasma network" (reports Reed) due to radiation from the "debris field" (adds Mayweather).
ACT 4: In the brig, Degra claims he knew it was a ruse ever since "Thalen" called: Azati Prime is an "Insectoid deuterium facility," not a place Primates would hide.
ENT implements a plan to use a "phased deflector pulse" to open the "subspace vortex" so that, like the Xindi, they can travel "half a dozen lightyears in a couple of minutes" (Tucker).

ST Universe Episode Review - Enterprise | Season 3 | Azati Prime
This episode has a wonderful atmosphere of doom, sacrifice and finality, but be warned; as great as this episode is, the ending will leave you gasping for the next episode in what appears to be the final arc to the season finaleĀ…
But of course, this is only episode 18, and so we know it's not the end of the mission — but that doesn't stop this episode from having the pace, drama and tension of a season finale.
And while it's true that this isn't the last episode of the season, this episode does mark the beginning of the final phase of the storyline — from this point on there are no standalone episodes or red herrings, just one episode leading seamlessly into the next in one final arc.

Archer launches an investigation into "Terra Prime", a shadowy xenophobic organisation based on Earth's moon which the woman had been a part of.
But when Tucker and T'Pol visit the moon they are quickly captured by Terra Prime, and witness a daring raid intended to force all aliens to leave the Sol system forever.
I'm thinking of Terra Prime as being the last gasp of xenophobia, a gathering of the few left who think that way in these more enlightened times.

UPN has altered this Friday's schedule: Two episodes of "The Mullets" will be repeated from 7-8pm CT/MT (8-9pm ET/PT), and the pilot episode of "Jake 2.0" will be repeated from 8-9pm CT/MT (9-10pm ET/PT).
Based on the current tentative schedule, the twelfth episode will air on November 26; based on the filming schedule thus far (7 to 8 filming days per episode), the twelfth episode will finish filming at the end of October or perhaps early November.
Assuming all remaining episodes are repeated only once, the season premiere would air tentatively September 17, but it's possible there will be additional repeat airings which would keep it on September 24.

This episode relies to a large extent on information obtained by Archer in "Stratagem".
Many of the ships in the battle of Battle of Procyon V are reused from throughout the various series.
Some of the damage done to Enterprise appears to be reused from previous episodes, including hull damage from "Shockwave, Part II" and "Regeneration", as well as the significantly damaged port hull from "Minefield".

The only thing that really makes the episode lose some credibility was the memory erasing...although, that's commonplace technology later on so there's no real reason they couldn't have it at this time.
There was good tension, the episode flowed nicely, overall it was solid and advanced the plot.
And there was an episode of The Outer Limits (the modern remake) where a prisoner was tricked into revealing information that was somewhat similar to this episode.

I think that I'll stop watching the episodes, (it's actually painful to see them destroy a wonderful franchise) and keep reading your scathing reviews on the subject.
Have you seen the next 6 episodes - it is like B5/Crusade redux with venal and racist commander and Trip and a bland by-the-numbers for plots and characters.
The only character that was developed was the "Doctor", and I felt that the only episode that Jeri Ryan really was sexy was "Equinox Part 2" when she was in that red dress.

ENT takes some serious "Damage" (SPOILERS) - Message Board - ezboard.com
The story, written by co-producer Phyllis Strong, opens in the midst of the space battle that started in "Azati Prime." The attacking Xindi vessels stop short of delivering a final fatal blow to Enterprise, but leave it virtually helpless with extensive damage and several crewmembers dead.
As mentioned in the previous production report, there was an overlap for two days in the filming of "Azati Prime" and "Damage," since the action is continuous between the episodes.
The previous segment, "Azati Prime," running on March 3, will serve as something of a cliffhanger while the show goes into repeats for six weeks.

I came into the season from a fairly cynical point of view and remained unconvinced for much of the year, however by Azati Prime I was hooked and actually thought that the show deserved to be saved.
And the final arc of the season from "Azati Prime" to "Zero Hour" was extremely enjoyable and among the best I've seen in Trek.
