The double pulsar system, PSR J0737-3039A and B, is 2000 light-years away in the direction of the constellation Puppis.
Its radio-wave-emitting region is buffeted by the strong particle winds from the A pulsar, meaning that B is only observable at certain times of the orbit.

Karnataka prove too hot for hapless Goa - Deccan Herald   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-29)
Joshi helped himself to a couple of massive hits right at the end as Karnataka completed a seven-wicket victory well inside 40 overs to pick up the bonus point too and finish on an impressive 18 points from their five games.
Tied down by Aiyappa’s pace, as well as the purchase Raghu and Joshi were getting out of a pitch showing the effects of wear and tear over the last six days, Goa’s batsmen tried to hit their way out of trouble and failed miserably.
Dani and, to a lesser extent, Jakati showcased the restraint needed on a surface of this nature against an attack that was relentless in both accuracy and its quest for wickets.

The discovery of the B pulsar was announced in Science Express on 8 January 2004 and published in Science in the 20 February 2004 issue (Lyne et al.
Such modulation is unprecedented in pulsar astronomy, and is very likely due to the relativistic wind from the A pulsar penetrating deep into the magnetosphere of the B pulsar.
Longitude 270° corresponds to inferior conjunction of the B pulsar when it is in front of and most closely aligned with the A pulsar.
