Bill later sends Elle Driver (aka "California Mountain Snake", played by Daryl Hannah) to finish off the comatose Bride in the hospital, but recalls her as she is about to administer poison, deciding at the last second that killing her while she lies helpless would be dishonorable.
Bill, acting the gentleman-killer, says he still has questions but doubts she can be honest about the answers, and therefore abruptly shoots her with a dart containing truth serum.

Kill Bill is what’s formally known as decadence and commonly known as crap...Coming out of this dazzling, whirling movie, I felt nothing--not anger, not dismay, not amusement.
It remains to be seen whether Kill Bill is merely a skilled slice of juvenilia or a pastiche with real emotional and thematic underpinnings, but based on Tarantino's storytelling command in the first half, it's worth giving him the benefit of the doubt.
Kill Bill is about nothing more (or less) than its director's passion for the mindless action pictures that got him through adolescence.

Throughout Kill Bill, I got the sense that Tarantino thinks he is being more clever than he actually is. This is easily the worst of Tarantino's four features (the other three being Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, and Jackie Brown).

He encouraged kids to see "Kill Bill -- Volume 1," a film that, depending on your opinion, is either a sickening bloodbath, a delightful bloodbath, a boring bloodbath or a comic bloodbath, but definitely, indisputably, a bloodbath.
One more point should be made about the violence in "Kill Bill: Volume 1." You will be told that the violence is intentionally absurd and played for laughs, and surely some of it is. But most of it is hardly silly at all.
People will claim that "Kill Bill" is jolly and innocent in the same way that they'll say they read Playboy for the articles.
