  B3ta - Encyclopedia Dramatica
It does, however, have the stories, weekly Photoshop challenges, a few animutation Flash videos, and a few fucked-up games such as one where the player tries to identify whether a picture is of an actual woman or a tranny.
Like users of 4chan's /b/, users of b3ta refer to themselves as "b3tards", which is pronounced exactly the same way as /b/tard: in the United Kingdom, the Greek letter "beta" is pronounced "BEE-ta" (as in "beat off") rather than "BAY-ta" (as in "masturbater").
b3ta makes heavy use of acronyms, many of which are exclusive to b3ta alone.

B3ta - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
B3ta is a humorous British website, described as a "puerile digital arts community" by The Guardian [1].
B3ta also includes a small weblog for announcing the newsletter and other administrivia and for important notices or links which can't wait for the newsletter.
B3ta also held the somewhat dubious honour of being one – if not the only – website to be banned under six categories by web filtering company N2H2 (see [2]).

B3ta was founded in the late 14th Century by the failure of the Spanish Armada to invade a single one of the British Isles.

 b3ta presentation
b3ta is very much like a usenet newsgroup (and developed out of a mailing list) in that it presents a means for people to converse about a narrowly defined topic.
b3ta serves as a portal to interesting and odd tidbits that float around the web, and a forum where people can share their own creations as well as the creations of others that they find interesting.
While b3ta is a powerful tool for dissemination of ideas, I suspect that the community of the boards is too insular for much of the material posted to make it out in to the wild (see Granovetter).

b3ta is one of my two favouite sites on the Internet.
Recently I’ve been luckily enough to be involved with b3ta, contributing content to their own weblog.
I’d urge anyone who frequents b3ta to dip their hands into their pockets and contribute whatever they can afford — we take for granted the fact that most content on the Internet is free, but it’s only so because someone else is paying the bills, in this case b3ta’s founders.

Firstly, if you don't know what b3ta is, I'd suggest a visit or little of this will make sense.
In a nutshell, if you've ever received an amusing image via email, the chances are pretty good that it originated from the b3ta messageboard.
Some of the images on this site (and indeed b3ta) are offensive, may contain profanity, and will possibly stretch the definition of "good humour" somewhat.

You may be thinking that I’m referring to an Equilibrium-esque world without emotion or art; however I am talking about the movies of the future; a time when there will be no need for actors to exist at all.
My interest in this stemmed from a very popular site called b3ta, where the aim of the message board is to digitally create and alter images, essentially for a laugh.
However, they do uncover an interesting trend in digital photo manipulation and show the ease at which you can fake a photograph to make it seem real.
