BBC East Midlands Today - Biocrawler   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-18)
BBC East Midlands Today is the BBC's regional television news programme for the east midlands region, which is comprised of Derbyshire, Leicestershire, southern Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Rutland (note this is different to the political East Midlands region).
East Midlands Today was established as an independent program in 1991, having previously been part of the BBC Midlands Today program, which now covers just the West Midlands.
Midlands Today was, for many years, depressingly Birmingham-centric and gave an unrealistic, if not ignorant, coverage of the local area's news.
