In 1989 she was part of the launch team on BBC 'Newsroom South East' where she was a news reader and presenter.
In 1999, she moved to Yorkshire and freelanced as a reporter/presenter for Tyne Tees, Yorkshire TV and BBC Look North.
In 1993, she joined the BBC's 'Country File' programme as a presenter and this was followed by a move in 1995 (credited as Shreela Ghosh) to 'Newsroom South East' as a reporter/presenter.

BBC East Midlands Today is the BBC's regional television news programme for the east midlands region, which is comprises southern Derbyshire, Leicestershire, southern Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Rutland (note this is different to the political East Midlands region).
East Midlands Today was established as an independent program in January 1991, having previously been part of the BBC Midlands Today program (which began on 5th October 1987).

BBC Wales Today is the BBC's regional news programme for Wales.
On the Welsh digital variant of BBC Two, BBC 2W, the programme replaced 2W News and Sport and is shown most weeknights at 21:30 on the channel entitled Wales Today on 2W.
The usual weather forecaster is Derek Brockway, with Liam Dutton standing in whenever Derek is away, and the main sports presenter is Bob Humphrys (the brother of BBC journalist and presenter John Humphrys).

In March 2003 the BBC announced that from the end of May 2003 (subsequently deferred to July 14) it intended to transmit all eight of its domestic television channels (including the 15 regional variations of BBC One) unencrypted from the Astra 2D satellite.
A contemporary music station, BBC Radio 1, was launched in 1967 in response to pirate radio stations (most of which closed on or before the introduction of new legislation on 15 August, 1967), and the present numbered names were adopted on the same day, 30 September, 1967.
BBC Radio 5 was launched on 27 August 1990 as a home for sport and children's programming, and was later renamed BBC Radio Five Live when it became a dedicated news and sport network.

There are subtle differences between the pillars of the north and south aisles which shows that craftsmen had the opportunities to use their own designs including the carving of faces (self portraits?).
