  BBC Radio Leeds - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
BBC Radio Leeds is the BBC Local Radio service for the English metropolitan county of West Yorkshire.
Opened on 24 June 1968, it broadcasts from its studios in Leeds on 92.4 (Holme Moss), 95.3 (Luddenden, two miles west of Halifax and Wharfedale, two miles north of Otley), 102.7 (Keighley, on Rombalds Moor near Riddlesden) 103.9 (Beecroft Hill, in Bramley near Leeds) FM, 774 (New Farnley, near the A58) AM and DAB.
Along with the BBC Yorkshire's television output, it moved, also in 2004, from the old studios on Woodhouse Lane to a new broadcasting centre in St Peter's Square, near the West Yorkshire Playhouse.

YFA has taken up the case to reinstate folk coverage on BBC local radio stations in the Yorkshire and Humber area, by writing to the heads of all four local stations, the head of the Yorkshire cluster and the head of local radio in the UK.
BBC local radio stations have in the past been obliged by letter-writing campaigns to back down on decisions they have made, and it is understandable that they would wish to avoid this where possible.

Hmm, BBC Radio Leeds should also be broadcasting on the Bradford multiplex, but this multiplex hasn't fully launched yet, by all accounts, although Radio Leeds received a carriage deal as a condition of the licence award to TWG Emap Digital.
I live in between Leeds and Bradford but can only get the Bradford digital multiplex, which means I can't get Radio Aire and BBC Radio Leeds.
For example the Radio Authority conspicuously omits the BBC national multiplex, the incredibly dull BBC site ignores everyone else (and has mistakes and non-functioning links), and the 'official site' is totally biased towards Digital One (but doesn't really make this clear).
