bBlog was started as a project by Eaden McKee to see how far the Smarty templating system could go toward supporting a full fledged blogging and content management framework.
bBlog builds on the tradition and concepts of b2, Wordpress and other PHP blog software, but is not based on the same code.
It is available under the GPL, which means it's free to use, and you are free to modify and redistribute it.

 Installation - BBlog
Extract the latest version of bblog to where it should be, and copy your config.php into this new version (overwrite the empty one if neccessary).
After downloading bBlog (http://www.bblog.com/download.php), extract the archive to a folder on your local hard drive.
All default bBlog tables in your MySQL database are created with the prefix bB_ and it is a simple task to change this to something unique.
