Jesusfreakhideout.com Interview: Smalltown Poets   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-14)
When our recording agreement lapsed and a mutual decision was made to end re-negotiations we had a unique opportunity to look for a label that we believed would be the best fit for us at this point.
We believe BEC wants and we want our music to be compelling to people whether they are inside or outside or in the process of discovering the Christian faith.
We think BEC Recordings is the right label to partner with because they understand what we have done in the past and where we want to go from here.

The 2001 Nobel Prize in Physics - Information for the Public
The experimental search for BEC in dilute gases started early with the use of spin-polarised hydrogen in Kleppner's and Greytak's group at MIT but it turned out to be very hard to achieve the appropiate conditions.
BEC has recently been developed to cover further types of atoms through two groups in Paris, who have reported condensation in meta-stable helium atoms.
Studies of phenomena related to BEC for fermions at extremely low temperatures by D. Jin and co-workers at JILA are revealing new aspects of the statistical conditions in physical systems, indicating future possibilities of observing atomic pair-formation and suprafluidity properties.

In 1998, Project 86 released its self-titled debut on BEC Recordings, a sublabel of Tooth and Nail Records.
Over the course of recording Truthless Heroes (which took around a year to complete) Project 86 had increasing difficulty with its management, as well as both record labels (Tooth and Nail still had rights to release their music to the Christian market).
The band spent several weeks in the studio over the summer recording the material, and the album was released on September 27, 2005.
