	CGTalk - BESM, Why must you revert my settings?
		Everytime i tweak out my BESM settings in a scene (this one in particular has 20 lights) and save it, close the scene and reopen it, all the settings i just tweaked are sent right back to how it was before...
		If their are bugs in BESM it is generally because no one bothered to email me with the problem or send me an example scene.
		The one thing to me that is really holding BESM back is the fact that it doesn't work with textures without lowering the opacity of the color, which allows the texture to show but takes away the color.

		While I'll say that this was written with converting typical d20 players to BESM, rather than for traditional BESM fans, the system accomidates d20's magic system adequately through the Dynamic Sorcery attribute, which allows all the d20 spells to be used in an anime campaign.
		Ultimately BESM suffers from being a little too general and parts of the system will almost always have to be cut off or dis-allowed in a campaign, in fact the text encourges this.
		BESM is the leading anime RPG, and the d20 edition does a good job of melding the two rulesets.

		Many point costs in BESM d20 are closer to the costs given in Tri-Stat dX than those in BESM.
		I've noticed in both the BESM D20 v3.0 and v3.5 that the prestige classes from D20 3.5 core rules have not been covered at all.
		Note that BESM d20 makes no distinction between light and one-handed weapons, so the minimum penalties are -4 rather than -2 (unless the GM allows the feat to stack with itself).

	NewTek Discussions - BESM and raytraced shadows
		I tried both removing the preferences file for BESM on the Mac and setting it to default from within LW but it still crases on the raytrace.lws render.
		Just tried with LW 6.5b and the BESM 0.93b, but it kills LW already when i try to apply the shader, no matter what scene.
		I think there is a problem in BESM with how it handles both shadows and transparencies together.
