The VIP tasters sampled the original BK Veggie Burger that was warmed slightly in the microwave to avoid contamination by the animal products cooked on the grill.

The BK Veggie is indeed cooked on the same rack as the regular burgers; the person I spoke to said because the rack is constantly rotating through the flames, the grease all burns off (the vegetarian was dubious, but allowed it was a question she rarely asked anyway).

The BK Veggie is pretty yucky to my taste buds and I have concerns about where it has been on the grill.
Veggie patties that more closely simulate meat usually have a higher protein content than bean- or grain-based burgers.
Burger King and PETA made a big deal about it being part of their national menu, so I just assumed it would be everywhere.

Yes, I support your efforts for BK Veggie Burger.....but it would be even better if you could also let folks know that there is a successful vegan fast food restaurant which seeks to expand and open a unit(s) in every city in every country soon.
On the first two days I bought 5 of the veggie patties all of the time without buns and microwaved.
I went to a total of five (5) Burger King restaurants in the Richmond area and not one of them was willing to do this for me. Their reasons ranged from none to health department regulations to the patty coming out like mush.

The folks at the Golden Arches wanted something meaty, unlike the BK Veggie which is more veggie-like.
Have yet to eat here, but in the tradition of Golden Era, this restaurant is owned by another daughter of the guy who owns Golden Lotus.
