	BSE: Sensex weak at early stages
		Mumbai, February 26: The Sensex opened moderately better but later turned weak in line with a downward turn in key stocks at early stages on the stock exchange, Mumbai (BSE) on Wednesday on fresh selling pressure from investors.
		The BSE sensitive index opened on a promising note at 3291.07 as against Tuesday's close of 3281.92 and later moved in a small range between 3292.69 and 3273.78 before being quoted at 3273.78 at 1030 hours, IST.
		Attributing the higher start to a smart rally on the Wall Street on Tuesday night, brokers said domestic investors as well as foreign funds seemed to be unwilling to any fresh commitments ahead of the budget.

	Study paints rosy picture for Sensex
		According to a study, about 80 per cent of the retail investors expect the BSE Sensex to be somewhere between 3,500 and 4,875 levels by end of 2001 and only 10 per cent expect the Sensex to be lower than the 3,500.
