 | | Others see PHEVs as a way for at least one manufacturer to leapfrog past existing auto makers, and others at many levels of California government see the opportunity for a domestic PHEV design/assembly industry. |
 | | We’re exploring with public officials ways to provide incentives to auto makers to build PHEVs, and with government and industry suppliers the opportunities for California to become a design, production (perhaps) an assembly center for PHEVs. |
