	History
		During the 9 year period of the war Switzerland was not directly involved, but the 10'000 to 16'000 troops had to pay with their blood.
		Baar was connected with Habsburg, abbey Kappel, abbey Fraumuenster Zuerich (Franconian King Karl III was the brother of abbess Berta), abbey's Schaenis, St.Gallen, Rheinau.
		In 1527, before the religious problems deteriorated and the religious wars started, the parish of Baar bought land and titles back from abbey Kappel (hence one cause for the term "old free Baar").

		LONDON -- Glencore International AG, Baar, Switzerland, and Alcan Aluminium Ltd., Montreal, said Thursday they had agreed in principle to the sale of Alcan's Aughinish alumina refinery in Ireland to Glencore, along with related businesses.
		The Aughinish refinery is located on the Shannon Estuary in County Limerick and produces 1.4 million tonnes of alumina per year with a work force of 450.
		Alcan bought out the 35-percent interest in Aughinish held by the Billiton interests in 1995, bringing its stake to 100 percent.
