		Unlike Ifa initiation where a skilled and knowledgeable Awo casts the individuals Ikin to determine their Ifa Life Path, the Santeria/Lucumi Babalawo's first experience with the Ikin is to perform their own reading.
		At the Ifa Foundation we teach initiated Babalawo how to cast with the Ikin as part of their training following initiation, but in Santeria/Lucumi they must cast their own path through their own Ikin.
