Alright I'm having a tough time deciphering that WYSIWUG generated javascript but the thing that pops out at are the lines that say "location=", which says to me that it is probably using that to navigate as opposed to using a link (which Babel Fish would alter).
You may not like my suggestion, but I think you may want to look into CSS menus if you want this to work with the translator (also comes with the added benefit of working regardless of whether or not someone has JS enabled, or CSS for that matter).
