The stench of air freshener (a strange tradition at Babyland shows) filled the club as the crowd bumped and ground to the flawless set, proving that Babyland is still one of the best bands Southern California has to offer.

Let me preface the following rant by noting that Babyland is one of the most talented, and thoroughly diverse industrial acts on the planet and is worth a gander as long as they are not at The Smell whose sound system is set up more for the traditional garage act.
Babyland took the stage to an ecstatic crowd, who didn't seem to mind that the temperature inside The Smell was like being inside a microwave set on "uber-fry".
