		Sultan Bacan berada di Solo dalam rangka memimpin kontingen Keraton Kasultanan Bacan, Halmahera Selatan, Maluku Utara, berkaitan dengan Festival Keraton Nusantara V Tahun 2006 yang digelar pekan lalu.
		Menurut Sultan Bacan, ekspor ikan sasimi ke Jepang setidaknya membuktikan Bacan merupakan daerah perikanan yang potensial.
		Bacan, lanjutnya, juga mengekspor mutiara yang dibudidayakan ke Jepang dan Selandia Baru.
