		The first four novels were published as paperbacks, but as Bachman had been gaining quite a constant readership, his last novel, Thinner, was published in hardcover and was well received by the critics.

		Bachman's embossed name on the hardcover spine of the Bachman Shining perfectly matches the weave of the cloth, disputing claims that the image has been digitally forged.

		I hate to say it, but if you are young, and are still in public/private school, then listening to a book is a cheap way out...since when I was i school I use to read a book a week...or two if it was a long one like the Unabridged version of The Stand.
		If you are in college, and or in work, or run a buisness...reading a book is still possible, but not as likely unless you specifically allot your time to do it ie: before bed...

		When my friend gave me this book to read she told me there was "something" in it that would scare the pants off me! Sadly i dont agree.
		I have read Stephen King books before and found some of them were tough for me to finish (i usually got bored at the slow bits), with the exception of The Shining and Misery.
		I have to say, books are generally more detailed than the films, but the film was graet aswell.
