	Colors and backgrounds
		Background properties allow authors to position a background image, repeat it, and declare whether it should be fixed with respect to the viewport or scrolled along with the document.
		Background properties are not inherited, but the parent box's background will shine through by default because of the initial 'transparent' value on 'background-color'.
		The 'background' property is a shorthand property for setting the individual background properties (i.e., 'background-color', 'background-image', 'background-repeat', 'background-attachment' and 'background-position') at the same place in the style sheet.

	Colors and backgrounds
		The background of the root element becomes the background of the canvas and covers the entire canvas, anchored at the same point as it would be if it was painted only for the root element itself.
		Backgrounds of elements that form a stacking context (see the 'z-index' property) are painted at the bottom of the element's stacking context, below anything in that stacking context.
		Given a valid declaration, the 'background' property first sets all the individual background properties to their initial values, then assigns explicit values given in the declaration.

	Document specific background and foreground control
		The purpose of this attribute is to specify a URL pointing to an image that is to be used as a background for the document.
		In Netscape 1.1, this background image is used to tile the full background of the document-viewing area.
		Clearly, once you have control of the background, you are going to need to also control the foreground to establish the proper contrasts.

		Since you need a digitizer to make backgrounds, and I know not everyone has one of these at their fingertips, the best way to use a background is to grab one off the Internet.
		Now that you have a.gif or.jpeg for your background, you will want to put it in the same directory you place all your other images into.
