Bad Animals Studio - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bad Animals Studio is a music and media recording studio on 4th Avenue in downtown Seattle.
It was set up by Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson (of Heart), and obviously named after their 1987 album Bad Animals.
In 1999, Ann and Nancy sold their share in the studio, but it continues with its name, and success.

Also, "Animals" strangely opens and closes with two very short and pleasant acoustic songs about love gone bad with "Pigs on the Wing," parts 1 and 2, which somehow works very well with the overall vibe of the album.
Animals was Pink Floyd's ninth studio album and came out in 1977 as the somewhat bleaker successor to Wish You Were Here.
Each of the three extended pieces that are the meat of Animals classifies a group of human beings; the "dogs" are the businessmen and the bureaucrats, who bully and cheat and derive enjoyment from the suffering of others whom they control to feed their own greed.

Bad Animals is a solid entry into the Heart catalogue, but it is not one of the group's stronger releases.
Some Heart fans like to pretend that 1985's Heart and Bad Animals never happened, but the band's makeover as a keyboard-heavy AOR act gave their career a much needed shot in the arm, as well as some much deserved attention.
The song "Bad Animals" shows off Ann Wilson's high-volume, exquisite voice, but the song is too slow-paced instead of being a fast-paced rocker like it should have been.

In Bad Guy she was faced with many challenging scenes, from the first customer she receives in the brothel to the episodes where she screams at Han-ki.
Throughout the shooting of this film, she kept to herself and did not speak to the other actors in order to prepare herself mentally for the challenge.
When Bad Guy was being filmed at an outdoor set of the Seoul Studio Complex, the convincing realism of the scene caused the crews of other productions to stop and wonder.

Mad Season - Biography - AOL Music
Amazingly, the group had few songs written at the time of the show (Martin later admitted that the group really had "only jams and beginnings of songs" prepared at the time), but the performance convinced the participants that a subsequent studio recording would be in cards.
Changing their name to Mad Season (an English expression for the time of year when hallucinogenic "psilocybin" mushrooms are in full bloom), the quartet set up shop at Seattle's Bad Animals recording studio, co-producing the subsequent sessions themselves along with Pearl Jam's sound engineer, Brett Eliason.
Mad Season gave fans a taste of their upcoming album by performing a pair of songs on Pearl Jam's Self-Pollution Radio program on January 8, 1995, before the resulting ten-track album, Above, was officially issued in March.

Inspired in part by George Orwell's classic novel, "Animal Farm," ANIMALS divides humans into three categories--dogs, pigs and sheep--and features each classification in song.

The CD, also released on vinyl, was recorded over a 16-day period at Heart's Bad Animals studio in Seattle using the new High Definition Compact Digital system (HDCD).
The suprising thing about Mirror Ball though, is the decidedly "low-fi" sound on the CD - considering the new technology used.
