Bad Boys II is a 2003 action comedy film by Michael Bay.
A video game version of the film, known as Bad Boys: Miami Takedown in North America, was released in 2004 on the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube and Windows.
Originally planned for release in late 2003 (to tie in with the film's DVD release), the game was pushed back several months.

The "Bad Boys" movies are supposed to be about two cops, but all I see is a pair of actors reading descriptions of their characters.
"Bad Boys" is about people who go back years; they should be talking in funky shorthand, not just screaming at each other with lists of personality traits.
"Bad Boys" played more like the sequels to "Beverly Hills Cop"; the one-liners were flat and obnoxious, and the action wasn't fun.

Bad Boys II is jammed-packed with car chases, a KKK rally, gun shootouts, corpses, sexual situations involving rats, homosexual conversations, porn, severed fingers and heads, bloody limbs, exploding houses and people, female nudity, and Lawrence in a ludicrous and pointless sequence in which he accidentally takes some Ecstasy.
Marcus freaks 'cuz yo, that's his lil' sis, and Mike-- well, one time when he was in New York he ran into her on the street, they went out for some dinner, hooked up and BAM are now a couple (the way the two tell the story is almost as ridiculous--trust me).
Too bad they couldn't have had this banter with someone other than a child, because it was completely inappropriate, random, and embarrassing.

Those of you who don't care much about director or producer track records might simply think that Bad Boys was pretty good and judging from the Bad Boys II trailer, the sequel seems to be as good as the first movie, if not even better.
