Bad English - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bad English is an American rock band formed in 1988, reuniting keyboardist Jonathan Cain with singer John Waite and bassist Ricky Phillips, his former bandmates in The Babys.
John Waite missed a shot and someone made a comment on how bad his "English" was (referring to the spin a player puts on the cue ball) and the band decided to use the phrase for their name.
Bad English drummer Deen Castronovo later went on to join a reformed Journey with singer Steve Augeri, Neal Schon, Jonathan Cain, and Ross Valory.

Bad in German means bath, but not the kind you have such trouble getting the kids to take.
Bad Kohlgrub´s spa facilities are especially effective for rheumatic and other joint conditions, back pain, bone problems such as osteoporosis, disorders of the nervous system as well as male and female problems.
Bad Kohlgrub is easily reached via Munich´s new airport and then a short road trip on the autobahn.

FAQs on Linguistics & Bad Linguistics
English is not getting worse, and the cave people of 40,000 BC did not speak in primitive grunts.
This is usually not a subject most people think about until they hear their children using "bad grammar." The fact is that the process of language learning or, as linguists call it, "language acquisition" is different from other types of learning such as learning to tie shoes or add and subtract.
English speakers have moved all over the world, but even if English only arrived on a continent in the 19th century, it does not negate the fact that some form of English was spoken in the 6th century AD in England.

The self-titled debut from Bad English is an album that will always be remembered for one song: "When I See You Smile." It is the only song you'll hear with any regularity anymore by this group.
Bad English has a very big production reminiscent of the era and the material presented is strong throughout.
Both Bad English albums are comparable in quality and content with the second being maybe a bit harder, but they're both good enough.

As an advertising consultant, I traveled to 22 different states and found that this type of bad English was spoken by many different ethnic groups around the country and was seldom pronounced the same from region to region.
Strong reinforcement of standard English through repetitious reading and writing exercises is one solution to the problem of illiteracy in ethnic groups in America.
What is worse is that these bad English-speaking students may become complacent with Ebonics and feel that they now have their own identifiable language and not attempt to learn standard English.

When my 8th grade English teacher was teaching us "sentence diagraming," she told us that the verb following "There" should agree wih the 'real' subject of the sentence (in this case, "lot").
Yes, but the rules and structure of English remain the same- there's no such thing as "prose grammar", although, like you said, writers of prose and poetry are encouraged to stray from the path for the sake of authenticity, flavor, impact, etc. -Martorano
As for songs containing improper English overall, like poor sentence structure, the Bad English 'theme' is used to show improper grammar on a line-per-line basis.

Apparently Singlish is now a “recognized” slang of English that everyone knows what it is. Embarrassed, the Singaporean government is now trying to push for proper English to rescue its image.
Another funny (maybe funnier than Singlish) variation of English spoken in Asia is “Engrish“, really really terribly bad English spoken by the Japanese.
So mostly, Engrish is just a series of misunderstandings, misinterpretations or misuses of the English language by the Japanese when they attempt to reinterpret Japanese meanings using inappropriate English words or pronunciations.

 Common Errors in English
Speakers of other languages tend to make some specific errors that are uncommon among native speakers, so you may also want to consult sites dealing specifically with English as a second language (see http://www.cln.org/subjects/esl_cur.html and http://esl.about.com/education/adulted/esl/).
Dictionaries differ among themselves on how much guidance to usage they provide; but the goal of a usage guide like this is substantially different: to protect you against patterns which are regarded by substantial numbers of well-educated people as nonstandard.
If you search for the word “English” in Google, which gives a measure of popularity by ranking its results in order of the number of links other people have created to them, my site is number 2.
