Badock Hall is well situated at the Stoke Bishop campus.
Badock isn't a 'posh' hall, but there is the annual ball, and a couple of formal dinners a term.
Badock hall is legendary for not having the greatest food - however, for the majority it suffices and lines the stomach for the evening activities.

The confirmation to which hall of residence I shall be residing in for my first year has 'finally' been issued.
However, I've been given a choice between two catered student halls - Badock Hall and Hiatt-baker Hall, both of which pale in comparison to the superior student halls such as Goldney Hall and Clifton Hill House, but inhabitable all the same.
Yes, I am absolutely thrilled at that fact that I do not have to share bathrooms with guys that probably adore jacking-off in the showers (sorry, for such crude language but that's reality) or with girls that love leaving the showers all clogged up with hair after utilising them on the same floor.

I was a student at Clifton hill House in my first year, and absolutely loved it, recommending it above any other hall to my best friends sister, and numerous other mates thinking of bristol.
It's atmosphere is easily a top reason for coming, and being a catered hall (with good food) means it is very social, and i had friends throughout the building.
The staff encourage a friendly environment and always have time to help or chat.
