Reporters sans Frontières reported that editors Rana and Rajendra Baidh of the weekly Bimarsh, Navaraj Timilsinha of Prakash, Gopal Budhathoki of Sanghu and Shashidhar Bhandari of Hank were all interrogated on 23 and 24 February after their papers printed blank pages in protest at post-coup censorship.
Meanwhile hundreds of suspected Maoist rebels attacked a state-run Nepalese TV station at Kohlapur in the remote south west, forcing it to suspend broadcasting, AFP reported.
