Baitul Mukarram is the national mosque of Bangladesh.
Located at the heart of Dhaka, capital of Bangladesh, this mosque was founded in the 1960s.
Baitul Mukarram’s resemblance to the famous Ka'abah at Makkah makes this a unique mosque in Bangladesh.

It is morally indefensible that men who try to plunge the country into religious or communal disorder should be at the helm of such important bodies or places of worship as Baitul Mukarram.

Coming to the point of calling Dr Azad a martyr or not, I think what I have said in my post will be agreed to by all good/true Muslims from Khatib of Baitul Mukarram to Jamaat leaders Golam Azam, Saaidee to Nizami.
He definitely didn’t deserve to be a martyr, just not because he died a death in his sleep although it was expedited by the brutal attack on his body by the sacred soldiers of Allah.
