		Vénen a continuació els nuclis de la vall baixa: Sant Feliu de Llobregat, Molins de Rei i Sant Vicenç dels Horts (amb 36 608 h, 17 840 h i 20 836 h respectivament) i Sant Joan Despí (que comença a soldar-se amb Cornellà, amb uns 24 977 h).
		Es pot considerar que a partir de 1985-86 comença a remuntar la crisi: hom hi instal·là o amplià grans indústries amb capital estranger, augmentà el nombre de petites empreses, diversificà els sectors industrials i moltes indústries foren desplaçades a la zona nord i oest de la comarca.
		Durant aquesta dècada, el Baix Llobregat acumulà un creixement econòmic proper al 28%, el segon més elevat de Catalunya i gairebé quatre punts per damunt de la mitjana, gràcies a una expansió i dinamisme que partí de la crisi del 1993 i que només enregistrà una inflexió considerable el 1996.

		Al final de la viu urbana trobem una gran rotonda i agafem la sortida sud, de seguida girem a l'esquerra en direcció al riu i prop d'una fabrica de palets trobem una pista al costat del riu (semblant al camí del Sorral).

		Preliminary stratigraphic analysis of the outcropping sedimentary successions of the Baix Llobregat Pliocene marine embayment (catalan continental margin, Northeastern Spain, Northwestern Mediterranean) indicates that this sedimentary record was depositad in a single transgressive pulse.
		The magnetostratigraphic analysis shows that all the studied sections have reverse polarity, a fact that supports their correlation and suggests that all of them were depositad during a time span included in a single reverse chron.
		Taking into account the overall features of the stratigraphic record and the regional evolution of the Mediterranean during the Early Pliocene, the first attribution would be the most likely and would mean that the outcropping Pliocene sedimentary record of the Baix Llobregat was deposited during the early stages of the Zanclian trans- gression.
