The Prophets weren’t allowing Dominion reinforcements through the wormhole anyway, thanks to the Emissary, but at least the wormhole was still there.
I assume that Weyoun already knows about the Prophets and the wormhole, and maybe he even knows what the Prophets did to the Dominion reinforcements, but as the Vorta so brilliantly pointed out to Damar, he doesn’t consider the Prophets to be ‘true’ gods.

The Pah-wraiths were banished from the wormhole by the Bajoran Prophets long ago and sealed into the Fire Caves on Bajor.
