The new Tigers club would be set up within the existing SuperDome structure in a place currently used for offices and in a sports hall used by Olympic athletes as a warm-up area.
The Tigers would be a tenant in the SuperDome, which made a loss last financial year.
The Tigers would contribute only $3 million to the cost to refurbishing the Superdome with the rest coming from Abigroup, the owner of the SuperDome, and other sources, said Tigers general manager, Wayne Forrest.

Many people expected the Tigers debut to be a flogging by the Brisbane boys, however, a fired team put together by Wayne Pearce, which was inspired by Laurie and the fact that they wanted to prove the media to be wrong, started strongly with a huge fire in the belly.
In other years, the Tigers would have lost the plot completely, however as calmly as you like, got back into an attacking position and then Caine was over again and plotted the conversion as well and the game was tied.
