The book seems only worth buying for those who have a keen interest in the analysis of Baltic mythology, or would be interested in doing research to fill in or refute the gaps in many of the articles.
Even though these books will "waste" time on non-P.I.E. myths, it is useful to be aware what is wide-spread, and not unique to north European, Classical, and Indo-Iranian myths and cultic practices.
The study of P.I.E. mythology is still hazy; perhaps it is only ready for an encyclopedia entry, and not yet a whole book.
