Also in 2003, Baltimore was affected by Hurricane Isabel from flooding as a result of tidal surge, the hard hit areas of Baltimore was in the Fells Point community and the Inner Harbor and the areas surrounding the Inner Harbor.
The Baltimore Convention Center came extremely close to being flooded due to Hurricane Isabel as most of Pratt Street was closed off because it was totally impassible by vehicles due to flooding.
