Tourist attractions in the region include the world famous Banaue Rice Terraces in the province of Ifugao.
The Banaue Rice Terraces are 2000-year-old terraces that were carved into the mountains of Ifugao without the aid of machinery to provide level steps where the natives can plant rice.
