What the heck is the Bandai Satellaview-X? The screens look an awful lot like a SFC.
I just did a Google search for Bandai Satellaview-X. This thing also had a re-make of the original Zelda, a really cool Hal mini golf game, 2 F-Zero games....
Actually, nearly all Sattelaview games have a 10 minute pause before the game starts when played in emulation.

Did You Know? - Square Enix
There were also at least 3 Square games done for Nintendo's Sattelaview peripheral in Japan, a satellite download gaming service that also never saw the light of day here.
In fact, running out and tracking down a boxed Sattelaview will net you nothing more than a really slick collectable- the games are no longer available in a legally downloadable format, last I heard.
They did release enhanced versions of FF I-IV, Front Mission, and Romancing Saga on Bandai's recently deceased Wonderswan handheld (along with a number of exclusive WS titles), thumbing their noses at Nintendo, and making more than a few collectors do the Ebay scramble.

However the console's full name is seldom used; the official abbreviation seen everywhere is BS-X; BS stands for Broadcast Satellaview¸ and X is literally "unƙnown" or "nameless".
It seems that at some point in time someone on the Internet started calling it the "Bandai" Satellaview¸ and most websites now refer to it as this¸ but there is no trace of any Bandai logo or name in any ƙnown documentation or indeed in the BIOS overworld interface itself.

I would love to get my hands on that.
Someone needs to write a Bandai Satellaview-X emulator so we can play this game!
