		It's a typical Riviera beach town, steep cliffs down to a luxury yacht harbor, impossibly jammed with traffic and tourists even in May. I'd hate to be there in July.
		On the left above, from an excellent lunch I had in the picturesque port of La Ciotat, you see a typical Mediterranean salad with Mozzarella, etc. What seems to be a glaze is a rich olive oil dressing.
		Main course: Loup de Mer (it seems like half my meals on this trip were Loup de Mer or Sea Wolf--yet each was different.) In the background of the plate are courgettes (probably a kind of zucchini) baked with onion over a sort of pancake.
