Bangca at El Nido, Philippines A "Banga" or "Bangca" is a type of boat boat used in the Philippines Philippines for fishing fishing and transport transporting passengers.
They are constructed with a long thin central hull hull and a solid, buoyant, horizontal wood wooden skid, named an outrigger outrigger, 1 to 3 metres from both sides of the hull.
