 Buet incident - Buet closed sine die
First time, the BUET authority was forced to close down the university to curb the popular movements of the students launched against the university authority demanding the arrest of the culprits involved in the armed clash over tender between two rival groups of BNP armed cadres.
The authority of the university instead of responding to the demand of the students tried to protect the culprits, led by the armed cadre of BNP named Muji; 'Muki' is a terror and the university authority is very much afraid of him as he enjoys the blessings of the ruling party.
Dhaka University is closed for sine die and BUET campus is agitated with demand of trial killers of Sonny and withdrawal of punisment meted to innocent students.

An estimated 75 million people in Bangladesh and neighboring areas of West Bengal in India are at risk of increased cancer rates and other health problems caused by arsenic in groundwater drinking supplies.
Tragically, the problem is an unforeseen consequence of shifting Bangladesh from a drinking water supply that used surface water to one that uses groundwater.
